The great mosque of Djenne is the largest building built from clay. The object is in Mali on the river bank of the Bath. Its base is executed in the form of a square of 75х75 m in size. The first option of the temple constructed in the XIII century was destroyed by the leader Sekou Amadou in the XIX century at a city gain. Reconstruction of object was made by the French administration in 1907 with use of fragments of the escaped building. Cob walls were tiled, and modern communications that affected initial historical style are carried out to rooms, but didn't worsen a magnificent view of the Great mosque at all.
