Ласс (Luss) is one of the most beautiful small villages in all vicinities of Loch Lomond in Scotland. There is a legend that the village prevails a name from adaptation of French, from a royal heraldic flower, an iris, or Fleur de Lis. According to a legend the local girl married the high-ranking French official in the 14th century. She died in France, but her body was returned to Scotland to be buried Loch Lomond; her husband covered its grave of Fleur de Lis, and as speak, flowers took root and grew here still.
