The street bridge to Kremerbryuka (or Lavochnikov Street) grew in 1171 directly on the bridge through Hera. Obviously, the brisk place was a tidbit for dealers and brought in the quite good income. On both sides of houses shops began to appear.
Derevyanny Bridge several times didn't maintain, suffered from the fires and active operation. It was repaired constantly until in 1325 built the bridge of a stone. The road is accurately paved by a stone blocks. Here could pass the car, but the bridge is declared for a long time by the pedestrian zone. Mud houses are closely molded to each other. They remained since the Middle Ages the almost invariable: all are also buried in flowers balconies and facades are ruled by patterns.
Walking on the bridge, it is possible to buy any interesting bagatelle, as in ancient times. Width between houses – four meters, and length of all street — 100 meters. Six round arches hold on themselves 32 houses. Once them was much more, but after uncountable reconstruction architects found optimum option.
Hera laid to herself a way under the street through some arches. One of them is used by pedestrians. The river enjoys special love of residents of Erfurt. It is a melkovata for navigation, and it is often possible to notice surface cafes or terraces over water.
Though nearby Ratkhausbryuk Bridge functions long ago, the inhabited bridge didn't lose respect of inhabitants. The city authorities tried to demolish old constructions more than once, but residents of Erfurt defended sight, having made Kremerbryuk a peculiar business card of the city.
In honor of the street even the annual holiday festival is arranged. People put on in medieval style. Down the street carry goods shopkeepers, handicraftsmen invite, conjurers and street actors act. This day to Kremerbryuka comes back to the Middle Ages and calls for himself everyone.
