Смотровая площадка на горе Ай-Петри ч 2 Observation deck on the mountain Ah-Petri

Горная вершина Ай-Петринской яйлы, самая известная крымская гора (1234
м), территория Ялтинского горно-лесного заповедника. Возвышается над
Алупкой и Кореизом. Белые зубцы, формирующие неповторимый силуэт горы,
состоят из четырех крупных (высотой 12-15 м) и ряда мелких отвесных
пиков, образовавшихся при выветривании неоднородных рифовых известняков.
До XV в. на вершине находился византийский храм Св. Петра, откуда
произошло название. Здесь расположена высокогорная метеостанция,
основанная в 1895 г., а также Ай-Петринский меридиан - металлический
глобус на гранитном основании. Со смотровых площадок открывается самая
обширная панорама ялтинского побережья Чёрного моря. 

 Самое
интересное на горе, и что следует посмотреть обязательно - это
открывающиеся с неё виды. Когда подниметесь на смотровую площадку, Вам
откроется панорама ЮБК от Аю-Дага
на востоке, до горы Кошка и скалы Дива на западе. Между этими горами,
далеко внизу, видны утопающие в зелени посёлки Гаспра, Кореиз, Симеиз и
Алупка. Если повезёт, можно испытать довольно необычное чувство,
разглядывая побережье сквозь разрывы в облаках, находящихся под Вами.
Море в ясный день просматривается с Ай-Петри дальше, чем на 100 км, на
таком расстоянии даже невозможно сказать, где заканчивается море и
начинается небо.

 Mountain top of the Ah-Petrinsky yayla, the most known Crimean mountain (1234 m), territory of the Yalta mountain and forest reserve. Towers over Alupka and Koreiz. The white teeth forming a unique silhouette of the mountain consist from four large (height of 12-15 m) and a number of the small steep peaks formed at aeration of non-uniform reef limestones. Till XV century at top there was a Byzantine church of Saint Peter, from where there was a name. Here the mountain meteorological station founded in 1895, and also the Ah-Petrinsky meridian - the metal globe on the granite basis is located. From observation decks the most extensive panorama of the Yalta coast of the Black Sea opens.



 The most interesting on the mountain and that it is necessary to look surely are the types opening from it. When you rise by an observation deck, to you YuBK panorama from Ai-Dag in the east, to the mountain the Cat and rocks of the Miracle in the West will open. Between these mountains, far below, the settlements of Gaspra, Koreiz, Simeiz and Alupka which are buried in verdure are visible. If carries, it is possible to have quite unusual feeling, examining the coast through gaps in the clouds which are under you. The sea in clear day is looked through with Ah-Petri further, than on 100 km, at such distance even it is impossible to tell where the sea comes to an end and the sky begins.
