Венецианский мостик и Деревянный шлюз в Софиевском парке. The Venetian bridge and Wooden lock in Sofiyevsky park

Венецианский мостик (1842-1845), опирающийся на пилоны из гранита с ограждением из толстых чугунных кованных цепей, перекинут справа от павильона Флоры через русло Каменки. Его предназначение — обеспечить путь через реку для каретных прогулок вокруг Ионического моря (Нижнего пруда).

Деревянный шлюз (1842-1845) расположенный ниже по руслу реки, предназначен для заброса избыточной воды из Верхнего пруда в русло Каменки, вытекающей за территорию Софиевки. Его оформление созвучно со шлюзом Верхнего пруда, а темные замшелые бревна переносят в эпоху средневековья своих созерцателей.
