
Еще в древние времена у водопада был возведен синтоистский храм Хиро-дзиндзя. Там же расположен буддийский храм Сэйганто-дзи. Удивительное единение двух религий. Впрочем, для японцев – вполне нормальное явление.




Водопад Нати не только является объектом поклонения, но и сам считается божеством. По мнению японцев в водопаде обитает священный дух Хиро-гонгэн. Вот уже много веков подряд пилигримы, которых не смущают извилистые горные тропы, приходят поклониться к водопаду.
