На одной из самых высоких гор острова Самуи расположен удивительный Магический сад Будды. На его территории находятся десятки оригинальных каменных скульптур, изображающих Будду, многочисленных священных божеств и животных.
Магический сад был основан в 1976 году талантливым фермером Нимом Тхонгсуком (Nim Thongsuk). Начав работать над сотворением парка скульптур в возрасте 77 лет, Ним посвятил ему завершающий этап своей жизни и до 91 года трудился без устали.

Вместе со своей супругой творец покоится в склепе, скрытом от людских глаз в глубине сада.

С помощью ассистентов фермер вручную создал из камня диковинные скульптуры людей, животных, мифических созданий. Многие из статуй отображают сцены из священных буддийских писаний. Кроме того, в парке можно увидеть тайских танцоров и музыкантов, солдат и монахов, обитателей леса. Некоторые изваяния настолько слились с природой, что их не каждому посетителю заметны на фоне зеленых растений. В одной из небольших искусственных пещер находится скульптура самого автора и неподалеку его брата.
В Магическом саду Будды всегда стоит необыкновенная атмосфера спокойствия и умиротворения, как нельзя лучше способствующая медитациям. Несколько домиков, расположенных на территории парка, предназначались для странствующих монахов, нуждающихся в ночлеге.

On one of the highest mountains of the island Samui the surprising Magic garden of Buddha is located. In its territory there are tens original stone sculptures representing Buddha, numerous sacred deities and animals.

The magic garden was founded in 1976 by the talented farmer Nym Tkhongsuk (Nim Thongsuk). Having started working on creation of park of sculptures at the age of 77 years, Nym devoted it the final stage of the life and till 91 year worked tirelessly. Together with the spouse the creator is based in the crypt hidden from human eyes in the depth of a garden.

By means of assistants the farmer manually created exotic sculptures of people, animal, mythical creations from a stone. Many of statues display scenes from the sacred Buddhist writing. Besides, in park it is possible to see Thai dancers and musicians, soldiers and monks, inhabitants of the wood. Some sculptures so merged with the nature that to their not each visitor are noticeable against green plants. In one of small artificial caves there is a sculpture of the author and nearby his brother.

In the Magic garden of Buddha always there is an unusual atmosphere of tranquillity and a pacification as well as possible promoting meditations. Some lodges located in the territory of park intended for the wandering monks needing a lodging for the night.
