Хотя внешне Вацлавская площадь больше напоминает широкий бульвар, на самом деле это одна из самых крупных городских площадей планеты, центр Нового места чешской столицы. Вацлавскую площадь называют основным деловым и торговым центром Праги, здесь расположены множество ресторанов, офисных центров, кафе и магазинов. Обязательно стоит уделить внимание памятнику Святого Вацлава и Национальному музею, которые находятся на этой пражской площади и считаются одними из самых узнаваемых символов города.

Though Vatslavskaya Square resembles the wide boulevard more superficially, actually it is one of the largest city squares of the planet, the center of the New place of the Czech capital. Vatslavskaya Square is called the main business and shopping center of Prague, a set of restaurants, office centers, cafe and shops are located here. Surely it is worth paying attention to Saint Václav and Natsionalnomu's monument to the museum who are on this Prague square and are considered as one of the most recognizable symbols of the city.

On the picturesque hill which towers over the Vltava River, to the South from the center of Prague, the most beautiful fortress Vysehrad is located. Exactly there is Saint Pyotr and Pavel's known Gothic cathedral, an ancient cemetery where buried the best-known figures of the Czech Republic, and also the remains of the most ancient Romance basilica. Vysehrad surely should be visited that who would like to learn more about history of Prague and to feel the unique atmosphere of this ancient and very beautiful corner of the city.

Йозефов представляет собой отдельный городской квартал, который является самой маленькой земельно-кадастровой единицей столицы Чехии. Ранее этот район города выступал сердцем еврейской общины. Здесь до сих пор находится старинное еврейское кладбище, несколько синагог, в том числе Староновая с ее сквером и оригинальной статуей Моисея, а также остатки пражского еврейского гетто, овеянного легендами о Големе.

Yozefov represents the certain city quarter which is the smallest land and cadastral unit of the capital of the Czech Republic. Earlier this district of the city acted as heart of the Jewish community. Here still there is an ancient Jewish cemetery, some synagogues, including Old new with its square and an original statue of Moisey, and also the remains of the Prague Jewish ghetto fanned by legends of the Golem.

Пражская Лоретта представляет собой целый комплекс зданий, в который входят Костел Рождества Господня, старинный монастырь, Лоретанская сокровищница, Святая хижина Девы Марии Лоретанской, а также другие сооружения. Каждый час с башни костела раздается мелодичный перезвон 30 колоколов и колокольчиков, которые были отлиты по специальному заказу в Амстердаме. Многочисленных паломников в Пражскую Лоретту привлекает то, что при строительстве хижины использовались кирпичи и балки, привезенные из оригинального жилища Девы Марии в итальянском городе Лоретто.

The Prague Lauretta represents the whole complex of buildings which enter the Church of Lord's Christmas, the ancient monastery, the Loretansky treasury, the Sacred hut of Virgin Mary of Loretanskaya, and also other constructions. Each hour from a tower of a church is distributed a melodious ringing of 30 bells and hand bells which were cast by the special order in Amsterdam. Numerous pilgrims in the Prague Lauretta are attracted that at construction of a hut the bricks and beams brought from the original dwelling of Virgin Mary to the Italian city of Loretto were used.

Карлов мост — знаменитый мост, расположенный в столице Чехии. Он соединяет Пражский Град со Старым Местом,  которые находятся на противоположных берегах реки Влатвы.
Теперь это два района одного города, а раньше это были два отдельных города, и за мост шла ожесточённая борьба. Жители спорили за право брать пошлину за переходы по мосту и решали, чьи торговцы должны на нём стоять.
Первый камень в этот мост заложил 9 июля 1357 года Карл IV. Сначала мост назывался Пражский, так как это был первый мост, построенный в Праге, и только в 1870 году ему было присвоено имя основателя. Карлов Мост — один из немногих, чьё строительство шло более ста лет.

Карлов мост заслуженно считается настоящим музеем. На обоих концах моста расположены башни. Староместская — на правом берегу Влтавы, а на левом находятся Малостранские мостовые башни. Долгое время башни являлись единственным украшением моста, но в дальнейшем на мосту установили 30 скульптур, которые гармонично вписываются в общую композицию. Самая знаменитая из них — Ян Непомуцкий. По легенде, если приложить руку к его изображению и загадать желание, оно обязательно исполнится.
Сегодня Карлов мост — известная чешская достопримечательность и визитная карточка Праги. Мост оказывает на туристов неизгладимые впечатления. А молодые пары любят назначать на нём свидания, так как считается, что поцелуй на этом мосту сулит счастливую и долгую совместную жизнь.

Karlov Bridge — the well-known bridge located in the capital of the Czech Republic. It connects the Prague Hail to the Old Place which are on opposite river banks of Vlatva.

Now it is two districts of one city, and earlier it were two certain cities, and for the bridge there was a hardened fight. Inhabitants argued for the right to take duty on transitions on the bridge and solved, whose dealers have to stand on it.

The first stone to this bridge was put on July 9, 1357 by Charles IV. At first the bridge was called Prague as it was the first bridge built in Prague and only in 1870 the name of the founder was appropriated to it. Karlov Bridge — one of the few, whose construction there were more than hundred years.

Karlov Bridge deservedly is considered the real museum. On both ends of the bridge towers are located. Staromestskaya — on the right coast of Vltava, and on left there are Malostransky bridge towers. Long time of a tower were the only decoration of the bridge, but further on the bridge established 30 sculptures which harmoniously fit into the general composition. The best-known of them — John Nepomucene. On a legend if to lay a hand to its image and to make a wish, it will surely be executed.

Today Karlov Bridge — known Czech sight and the business card of Prague. The bridge renders indelible impressions on tourists. And young pairs like to appoint on it appointments as it is considered that the kiss on this bridge promises happy and long joint life.

Староместская площадь . Прага / Staromestskaya Square. Prague

Эту старинную пражскую площадь можно назвать настоящей выставкой самых популярных архитектурных стилей. На Староместской площади можно увидеть оригинальные, прекрасно сохранившиеся здания в стиле пышного барокко, изысканного ренессанса, романтичного рококо, строгой готики. В середине XX века Староместская площадь стала пешеходной зоной, сегодня здесь можно покататься в старинной карете, увидеть знаменитые Пражские куранты, просто прогуляться, любуясь старинными зданиями.

It is possible to call this ancient Prague area the real exhibition of the most popular architectural styles. On Staromestskaya Square it is possible to see the original, perfectly remained buildings in style of magnificent baroque, the refined Renaissance, romantic rococo, strict gothic style. In the middle of the XX century Staromestskaya Square became the pedestrian zone, today here it is possible to drive in the ancient carriage, to see the well-known Prague chiming clock, it is simple to walk, admiring ancient buildings.

Пороховая башня, Прага / Powder tower, Prague

Даже на фоне многочисленных старинных зданий центра Праги Пороховая башня выделяется своей необычной архитектурой. Это довольно строгое здание может показаться слишком мрачным, так как является образцом готического стиля. Внутри Пороховой башни располагается выставка фотографий, однако туристов больше привлекает возможность подняться по 186 ступенькам на смотровую площадку. Отсюда, с высоты 44 метров, открывается красивейший вид на центр города.

Even against numerous ancient buildings of the center of Prague the Powder tower is allocated with the unusual architecture. This quite strict building can seem too gloomy as is an example of Gothic style. In the Powder tower the photo exhibition settles down, however tourists are attracted more by opportunity to rise on 186 steps by an observation deck. From here, from height of 44 meters, the most beautiful view of the downtown opens.
