Голубой пруд Биэй, Япония / Blue pond Biya, Japan

Небольшой водоём Биэй, известный на всю Японию изумительным голубым цветом своей воды, случайно появился на на левом берегу реки Биэйгоа (остров Хоккайдо), когда в конце восьмидесятых годов XX века здесь проводились работы по строительству плотины.
Она была необходима для блокировки грязевой сели, выбрасываемой при извержении вулкана Токачи. Расположенный непосредственно у подножия огнеопасной горы пруд до сих пор вызывает недоумение учёных, которые никак не могут объяснить тайну его необычного аквамаринового цвета.
По одной из версий, чистейший бирюзовый цвет Биэй обусловлен находящимися в двух с половиной километрах (по направлению на северо-запад) горячими источниками Платинум; по другой – большими залежами алюминия, чья гидроокись придаёт воде уникальную яркость и насыщенность.
В зависимости от погодных условий или точки наблюдения меняется и оттенок пруда Биэй, колеблющийся в пределах от густого голубого до бледного бирюзового. Торчащие из центра водоёма высохшие берёзы и лиственницы придают Биэй поистине сказочный вид. Зимой пруд покрывается тонкой ледяной коркой и выглядит ещё очаровательнее, чем летом.
Добраться до Голубого пруда можно самостоятельно. Для этого необходимо сесть на поезд, следующий по маршруту «Токио-Биэй», после чего перебраться на автобус или арендовать автомобиль. От города Биэй до голубой достопримечательности всего пятнадцать минут езды плюс десять минут ходу от автобусной остановки. Для автомобилей рядом с прудом работает бесплатная стоянка. Сам Биэй можно обойти за полчаса.

Depending on weather conditions or a point of supervision also the pond shade Biya fluctuating ranging from dense blue to the pale turquoise changes. The dried birches which are sticking out of the center of a reservoir and a larch give Biya really fantastic look. In the winter the pond becomes covered by a thin ice crust and looks even more charmingly, than in the summer.

It is possible to reach the Blue pond independently. For this purpose it is necessary to take the train going along a route of "Tokyo-Biey" then to get over on the bus or to rent the car. From the city of Biya to blue sight only fifteen minutes of a driving plus ten minutes to the course from the bus-stop. For cars near a pond the free parking works. Itself Biya it is possible to bypass for half an hour.
